Built in 1425, Bunratty Castle is the most authentic medieval fortress in Ireland. It contains 15th and 16th-century furnishings, tapestries & works of art that capture the essence of times gone by.

Loop Head 1 Hour 30 Mins Drive

The Heritage Trail is signposted and has an audio guide for those who like to take in local knowledge of the area. Explore the Wild Atlantic Way from the Sea.

Take a spectacular drive through the Burren to Doolin, sail to the Aran Islands and cruise to the Cliffs of Moher before returning back to the Shannon Springs Hotel. 

This day trip combines the best of both worlds with a visit to the Aran Islands, a boat trip below the Cliffs of Moher and a visit to the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre.
